Have you received a check stating you have WON the LOTTERY or are a SWEEPSTAKES WINNER?

Lottery Scams - Signs to Look for:
  1. Were you informed you won a Canadian or foreign lottery you never entered? Did the person tell you to wire, send via Western Union, or ship money as soon as possible to cover taxes or fees and collect your proceeds?
  2. Were you asked to pay funds to receive a deposit from another country, such as Canada, England, or Nigeria?
  3. Did you receive an e-mail or phone call requesting you to confirm, update, or provide account information?
  4. Have you been contacted by someone indicating you're entitled to an inheritance from a wealthy distant relative in a foreign country?
  5. Have you received a request for confidential information from a financial institution or creditor you're not associated with?

These are just a few of the scam motives that have exposed and victimized our members.
