Applicants to the Calvin J. Peterson Memorial scholarship program must be:

A member of Service 1 Federal Credit Union or the child or grandchild of a member of Service 1 Federal Credit Union.
High school or college students who plan to enroll or are already enrolled in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university.

Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded. The deadline for scholarship applications is February 1, 2009.

Scholarships Awarded

Congratulations to Trevor Beck and Djon-Iva Santos, the 2008 recipients of the Calvin Peterson Memorial Scholarship.

Trevor Beck is from Muskegon, Michigan and will begin his first year at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia this fall. He plans on studying Pre-Law in hopes to become an attorney.

Djon-Iva Santos is from Mobile, Alabama and will be entering her third year as a Psychology major at the University of South Alabama this fall. She plans on specializing in Forensic Psychology.
